Social Pastiche
My design journey definitely threw me for a loop. I made an initial bitmapped poster, which didn’t turn out well so I moved on to make a second version. I ended up not liking that one either and began to look at as many Josef Muller Brockmann posters as I could.
I really liked his art style so I tried to emulate his style in my own poster. I really liked being able to play around with the typography in my different iterations.
I think I am going to continue to incorporate the ideas from Swiss Design into some of my future projects because I really like the simplistic typographic approach.
