Context:
UNSW - Women in Technology (WIT) is a non-profit organisation that aims to connect surrounding female's STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) students together to encourage a career in technology.
Inspiration:
Inspired from the previous 2020's WIT Hoodie Design of a simple line drawing of women faces. I added complexity and details to the line drawing with a limited palette of pink, yellow & green. The colour were to put in blocks because I think the abstract elements complemented well with the flow-like drawing.
Describe:
In the front hoodie, I have a logo of a flower named "Calla lilies". I choose this flower not only because of its sleek & elegance body line, but also because the flower itself is known to be the symbol of 'beautiful'.
The text logo designed as '{wit}' because this is the official lettering for WIT.
The circle encloses the text for a nice outline & allows the full title "University of New South Wales - Women In Technology" to wrap around it in a smaller font.
