Brief

The brief is to create a Guerrilla campaign against a South African social and/or environmental justice
cause as our theme. This cause was nominated by those in class through a process of us all stating the issues that we were most passionate about within the context of the brief. All of the ideas had to work in a South African context in order for us to use the designated outputs to bring attention to these issues and even protest or speak out about them. The outputs used to do this will be a typographic poster that has to convey your chosen issue using just type and nothing else to communicate with the viewer. The second output would be a visual poster that should contain very little to no type at all to help convey the same message to the viewer.
Typographic Poster Output
This is the final concept for my typographic poster which is very simple and straight to the point that is being made with the word bridge split apart to make reference to the economic divide that i am confronting people with so that they can talk about it and knowledge that it exists. The word Gap site on its own because of far it is to the other text on the poster which  seams to be above it on top of the page.
Visual Poster Output
The final poster consisted on three main element, these were the skyscraper that the white man lives in, the shacks that most people of colour in South Africa are living in and the background that they live in which in this case is the inner covering of a shack in South Africa. The big building in the center is surrounded by those who get the shorter end of the stick when it comes to economic inequality in South Africa, these are the shack dwellers at the foot of the building who also aspire to get what is always so unattainable for the no matter  how close they are because of the gap that needs to be bridged.
