"Growth" came about after a series of experiments to change my painting technique completely. Consisting of layers of after-images left by a combination of soap and paint and/or india ink. The result is a sequence with no discernible beginning or end. Themes of light and dark, a part of all of my most recent artwork, are present here as well, but lacking their traditional archetypes.
