How I created a quick and simple banner for my Esty shop!
I started with two quick photos of my subject with two different lighting setups (I only have one light)
I cropped both down to their final size
I overlaid the two on top of each other and applied a layer mask with a gradient in order to fade in and out.
I added a bunch of contrast and darkness, and adjusted the levels
finally, I added a hue/saturation adjustment to give it the classic red/blue look that matches the rest of my branding and marketing materials
despite the original photos being a little blurry, I'm pretty happy with how this turned out given how quickly it took to make.
