Vaporwave Exhibition

This project is one of handful of projects I had to do in my second of BTEC Art and Design. for this project I was tasked with coming up with a logo design, poster design and art work for a Vaporwave exhibition. the finial work being displayed in North Shields at The Exchange.

this project was one of the longest projects I had worked on, this ended up with me coming up with way more variations in the logo and poster design. interestingly enough I changed the main color pallet towards the end of the project to a more sunset color pallet more similar to the first wave of Vaporwave style stuff that came out.
I was mainly inspired to try out a different color pallet for the art I was working on, by the colors from the MacintoshPlus cover one of the first and well known Vaporwave alums. the reason I like the new color scheme more is because it was reminiscent of the early Vaporwave style and it stood out compered to the rest of the class witch had a manly cyan, purple, magenta, and black color pallet.
