- Undergraduate Project
- The capacity of the football stadium is 55.000 people. In the master plan design, land considered as two different levels. The first level is designed as an active are, where people can spend time continuously. In the second level, there is the stadium on the raised plaza. It was tried to get maximum efficiency from the platform by opening the garden slots. Thanks to the hobby gardens and shops, the platform has become an effective design element. The shops inside the platform are designed to serve both in and out. Service roads and VIP entrance to the stadium were also designed in the platform.

-STRUCTURE
The National Stadium's main structure is an enormous saddle - shaped elliptic steel structure. The primary structure of the steel frame is formed by 24 portal girders welded together into a single unit. A series of cantilevered trusses has been designed to support the roof, shading the seats. While designing the national stadium, also ensured comportable seats and optimum view for all spectators. The loads at each intersection are split between the members and transferred downward. The massive steel structure resists lateral loads in a similar manner as the horizontal ones. In addition, instead of the loads hitting the structure and following it downwards and upwards it is broken down through the lattice of steel while being weakened and providing natural ventilation in the building.
