My favourite project to date consists of creating an editorial publication that pays homage to an author of our choice. I chose Ray Bradbury, and the relationship between his predictive sci-fi novels and the applications of his work. The challenge of the project was to use only typography in an expressive way to deliver the theme of our work, things like font, leading, layout style, and point size to reflect the mood of our publications. I wrote my content and I really enjoyed the challenge of being limited to type as imagery, this project also gave me the chance to explore and discuss some of my favourite stories. In addition to the publication, we had to create a type spec book, a gif, and 4 typographic posters to compliment the project.
