Designs in the woodblocks are found in remembered floorplans of my family home. Each floor of the floorplan was blotted out into ink drawings on acetate and layered on top of each other. Then through the use of a viewfinder, 120 compositions were found. Within these 120 compositions existed repeated motifs and outliers in form. Consistent shapes were selected from these compositions to be carved into wood and printed on the printing press.​​​​​​​
