CHAOS CITY VIENNA

After a Meteorite strike in Southern Europe, firestorms and a prolonged period of darkness have brought a standstill to everyday life in Vienna. The aim of the campaign is to intiate people to cooperate in helpful neighboorhood activities within their districts. Basic living needs are again available to the public but public order has not yet been fully restored.

The series of posters occupies with the fatal outcome of a natural disaster that caused poverty, agony and greed but also deals with the daily ignorance and selfishment of our community. The combination of different parts of bodies form an abstract alphabet, which visualizes the inhabitants of Vienna, full with extremes and make it become apparent that they are coalesced with the city. The letters shouldn‘t be that precise, but the messages are clear and directly adressed to the hearts of people – raising feelings that can‘t be suppressed. Using the power of questions, the campaign immediately gets in the minds of people and should provide them with an abundance of suggestions to start cooperating and helping.
The campaign expresses that seemingly unsolvable problems can be solved, if the will is strong enough and
the change in people‘s heads began.
