This is an idea for a pavilion in the middle of a square. The concept behind the project is that is seems like the a part of the groond comes off and creates the ceiling. That's why the floor of the building is below the level of the square. In this way, it does not only creates the illusion that the roof is the missing part of the floor, but also provides a cozy place in the middle of the square. The organic columns contrast with the rectangular shape of both the side and the top view. The surrounding glass protects the people and at the same time it does not interrupt the view from the one side to the other.
