Single hour portrait series
All portraits were done in oil, and from life of people that I know personally. The goal was to only paint what I found necessary to capture their presence. You may notice the pen and ink lines beneath the paint. Each portrait was started with an ink drawing rather than a pencil drawing so that every mark is final.
