Hospitality Design
Semester 2
Year: 2020

This course emphasises integrating creative and imaginative applications of the design and communication processes to contemporary interior environment design problems. Wherever possible, industry-based projects are undertaken and students are expected to apply a professional code of ethics to all activities. They are expected to solve complex and demanding problems within fixed deadlines and present work in a professional manner. Assessment is studio-project based. Wherever possible, assessable items are required to comply with the Design Futures principles and students are encouraged to see design as a profession through broader social, cultural, political, and economic contextualisation.
