The Internet is a cache of imagery: ethereal, unused, and intangible. By searching for key worded images, such as female, domestic, diagrams, I amassed an archive of imagery detailing my fascination for women's roles in society and how they are perceived by others, specifically men.
The images are printed on Xerox paper and then transferred onto BFK Reeves printmaking paper and muslin fabric. Then, I draw into the collages with markers to add more cohesion and narrative.
The end result is a labor of love, a new mythology of my making; which chronicles my perception of women. I take the intangible, the forgotten artifacts of the internet, and translate them into the physical world. They become new elements in my visual language.
