This poster and shirt design is conceptually driven towards the diverse scene of Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. The guitar graphic blends visual elements of a musical instrument and the city streets, with a playful twist on the street sign lingo. A type treatment was used for the band name collage which focuses on the variety of musical acts performing at the Block Party. Each band was given its own typeface with an assortment of color, size, and direction.
