STOCKHOLM SYNDROME

Is a poster shirt inspired by the Chinese saying, “槛花笼鹤 (jian hua long he)”: to be trapped like a flower growing within the confines of a picket fence; like a bird fluttering aimless in its cage. Staying indoors, captive to our own homes, grew excruciating over time. But with no brighter or safer alternative we have learned to embrace the choice to remain trapped, hoping that one day soon we can flutter about outside once more.
