CHALLANGE
Luna Rossa is sailing another time to challange the Americas Cup in the gulf of Auckland.
For me like many others Italians is time to prepare coffee machines and wait for the regatta in the middle of the night.
I worked on the infographics for the event, producing a range of artworks that space between prints and mobile. I enjoyed dipping the hands in some good infographic to describe the features of this beutiful new boat, the AC75, foiling monohull that compete in the Americas Cup/Prada Cup.
Match racing with this boats is simply an act of art, technology achievements and the role of the crew is the best expression of the highest levels of modern sailings and engineering.

3 - EYE-CRACKING GIF TEASERS
I produced a set of gif to support the troup with some old fashion psichedelic animation.
Aggressive and addictive this animation are dedicated with lot of love to those on Instagram that get stucked in the stories blinking at pixels.
I played with wind and waves, getting lost in speed and colors while editing, a hard week for the health of my eyes,I should say.
4 - LEZIONI DI VELA
Ora switchiamo in Italiano e mi dirigo a tutti quelli sul sofá aspettando le 16:00 di Auckland.
Caffé e bava degna del Match racing son il contesto di questa serie di animazioni. Siccome le ore sono lunghe e i video non bastano mai mi son istruito un po e pprovato a ridisegnarlo. L'obiettivo da disegnatore è rappresentare chiaramente la bellezza delle geometrie della tattica, immortalare le manovre e pitturarne i momenti che decidono una vittoria. Insomma trasmettere quell'attimo dove ti si strizza il culo prima di esplodere di gioia al sorpasso a cinquanta nodi.

É doveroso ringraziare col cuore i ragazzi del centro velico Caprera e il Gran Maestro Ganga e i loro video Educational per noi animali di terra, che mi han cullayo in questo viaggio. Queste animazioni son un ovvio tributo alla lezione imparata.
Consiglio a tutti di perdere un po di tempo aspettando le regate sul loro canale prima che le gif friggano occhi. Spero di aver reso la goduria nel vedere in loop la manovra perfetta dei due timonieri nella partenza di gara 3 contro American Magic.
