This is a branding and website design project for a fictional online shop called ‘Yum Goods’ that sell hand-made home ware and gifts.
Selling a wide range of eco-friendly products, they want to promote a sustainable and good looking lifestyle, appealing to the millennial market. The brief for the design was to be progressive and minimalistic, with a retro touch that matches the handmade vibe while still letting the products sing.
For the homepage I curated a selection of images and used grids to create an interesting composition that showcased them in a tile-style gallery. I used a muted earth tone colour scheme with a slightly retro serif and a simple cut-out vessel shaped logo.
