Clubhouse Makeover

Oh yes, we too couldn’t resist the noise around clubhouse. And of course, we are aware of the issues concerning social equality and data privacy. The founders definitely need to deliver on these points. But still, we see great potential for this concept to reshape some form of the social media landscape dominated by facebook & twitter. After our first impressions as users ourselves we asked ourselves the question: Is the brand behind the app as revolutionary as the concept itself? There might be a lot of lost ground to recover!

Without a briefing, without consultation and of course without an actual commission, we spent two day on a design sprint to show a possible alternative. This logo design combines the central themes around clubhouse: dialogue, communication and of course the house itself. We wanted to create a shape that’s uniquely recognizable and built up a whole design system around it. Of course, this draft is far from a final approach. But we hope it might work as an inspiration and a starting point for a larger discussion on a possible design framework.
