I wanted to use the shifting of form and color to represent stages of life and expanding of my horizons. I feel like I've changed a lot over the last 5-10 years and have become something entirely different than where I started. Everyone changes but from a queer perspective I feel like a whole different person than who I was when I was closeted. It's very common for queer and trans people to look back on their memories like they are watching someone else and this had been on my mind when I created this gif.
