Brigde - Speculative Design & Concept Development

This was an assignment in editorial experimental design through Westerdals Oslo Act.

In the subject Speculative design at Westerdals, we were given the task to create a speculative scenario and a thesis, and then design a solution.

Scenario/thesis:
In a future where digital communication has taken over, and physical human social interaction is reduced to a minimum, the population has lost the ability to communicate physically. How can we reintroduce human contact using spectulative design solutions?

Solution:
Bridge is a system created with the purpose of re-teach how to communicate physically with other people. The system requires to be installed into the human eye, to create an artificial reality interface. We designed this interface.

In this subject, we got to work with concept development, user interface design, motion design and spectulative design.
The bow is to symbolize the bridge between the people. The circle is the humanm eye that watches through the system.
