These last weeks, I was looking for a print to do for Valentine's day. And fortunately, I saw this photo I had taken a few years ago: this couple, sitting alone in the peaceful night. It reminded me so much of a song of Soror Dolorosa.
I carved it in one day (never do that kids, you're gonna end up tired with a sore back).
Proof print, on Zerkall paper.
As you can see, it's a bit too dark. Some details are a bit lost.
For the first time, I tried to humidify the paper. It's supposed to help the ink to get absorbed on the paper. I feared it will be a lot of organisation and work, but it was fine. Just need a little more room to have everything handy.
