”Raising self-esteem, inspiring curiosity, expanding knowledge and helping people in Brazil and around the world are the challenges that make me wake up every day.”

Eduardo Valladares is a jolly, bold and entertaining grammar teacher that has worked in high schools for 16 years before deciding to aim in a slightly different direction.
With the purpose to inspire young and teenagers to change the way they see their own skills and with extensive experience in education, Edu manages to bring together form and content in a dynamic, objective and impactful language outside the traditional learning methods. Through lectures, mentoring and the creation of collaborative learning communities, he encourages embracing vulnerability, critical thinking and reflection on various topics that impact teen’s behaviour.

Being as a diverse professional as he is, we were able to separate his work in two categories: Education and Vulnerability. We then created a logo that embodies all of what Edu is: bold, fun and enthusiastic. The orange dot, a pop of bright color in the middle of this black and white identity, represents Edu himself and the impact he has on his students and people around him.

Eduardo Valladares' personal brand is EDU VLLD, Edu standing for both Eduardo and Education, as well as VLLD standing for both Valladares and Vulnerability.

We generated new assets playing with the orange dot, the double L and the U from the logo. They were used to create interesting patterns that helped shape the visual identity for the brand.

Edu’s looks are constantly changing so we wanted to embrace the opportunity to represent all of his multitude through vector illustration with different hair styles and glasses.
