A collection of images of Yellowstone National Park's Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River from Artists Point using a 100mm to 400mm telephoto lens - yields views not normally seen. Cloudy, misty day made for saturated colors of the walls of the canyon - which are about 1000 feet (300 meters) in depth. Images of nearly vertical canyon walls are disorienting - the colors and textures from this post-volcanic environment are surreal.
