Peter Saville
A CD insert timeline about the career and work of Peter Saville, an English graphic designer who is best known for his album art for Factory Records.
Synaesthesia
A brief introduction to color-grapheme synaesthesia, a fairly common "cross-wiring" in the brain, which causes a person to associate letters and/or numbers with very specific colors. (I personally associate numbers and consonants with colors, though the number zero and all vowels are colorless.)
I Fioretti di San Francesco
A book cover and title page I designed for an exhibition of rare books at the Basilica of Saint Francis, in Assisi, Italy. I worked closely on this project with Fra Carlo Bottero, a Franciscan friar who wears the long wool robes, crucifix, knotted rope, and a snappy purple USB lanyard around his neck.
Indoor Gardening
A dummy-book design for an instructional manual about container gardening in urban environments. (Apologies to the Boston Museum of Science... this was for a project involving museum exhibition design, no profits were involved.)
Purple and Black Untitled
A process book for logo design, made in my Type II class. 25 different typefaces, 25 different logos using my first two initials, "CE."
