Knoll
Knoll is an American design firm that produces office systems, seating, files and storage, tables and desks, textiles, and accessories for the office, home, and higher education settings. Founded by the German immigrant Hans G. Knolls, the design philosophy of this company is line with the Bauhaus and other modern movements of the 20th century. That being said, I wanted to make its influence apparent for their websites / mobile app. I wanted to emphasize simplicity and order to follow the integrity of the brand, as well as allowing the images to do most of the communicating; because their pieces of furniture are strong statement pieces in itself.
Website Redesign
The redesign of Knoll's website relies on a simplistic, grid-like structure, which draws influence from modern movements of the 20th century. This style reflects the identity of the brand. In addition, enlarged images make up most of the composition. This was intended to showcase pieces of furniture to its fullest potential; for users to get a good look into Knoll's quality products and to display its details.

Knoll RoomView
Knoll RoomView allows users to scan a given area, choose a piece of furniture from Knoll's expansive catalog, and virtually place it there. Similar to the website re-design, I wanted to carry over the grid and a sense of order / balance to reflect the brand's identity.
