While taking Typography I during my sophomore year, we were required to make a hand-made poster detailing the history of a particular typeface and its designer. I chose the humble “Perpetua”. During my research into the designer, Eric Gill, I discovered that he was quite an unethical individual. Involved with a variety of horrifying things such as sexual assault, bestiality, and domestic violence. I decided to use this information to create a poster that would appropriately fit the personality of Eric Gill and his actions.
