Over the past few years I have been producing illustrations for a weekly column 'Beyond the Whiteboard' in the Times Educational Supplement magazine. It is about the weekly trials & tribulations of an anonymous School Teacher in the North East of England under the pseudonym, Ms Anne Thrope. This included creating a character face for Ms Anne Thrope which was achieved by collaging elements from a number of faces sourced from magazines. I also created faces for her husband, son & daughter as well as a further two ficticious teachers using the same technique.
