VIDEO INTERVIEWS
Video Interviews are gaining much recognition as one of the mediums for thought knowledge resources. I had the opportunity to produce video features and conduct an interview with thought leaders and experts. Prior to the interview sessions, I did the research on the experts and their work in the respective fields. The objective of the interview provides the audience with an understanding in the subject matter such as sustainable technology,
The video featured an interview with the scientists from Institute of Chemical & Engineering Sciences. This interview was part of the A*STAR's Heroes of Science campaign and the scientists talked about the importance of biomass-to-chemicals as well as the advantages of using sustainable innovation. Their research on recycling wastes into functional solutions provided an inspiration to the production of the Heroes of Science Volume One video. The video was shot on location at Fusionworld in A*STAR. Other video projects include interview with tv personality Ms Sharon Ismail and trainer Kasmani Dollah for Mendaki SENSE.
Taking dual roles as an interviewer and videographer were challenging but it stretch my capabilities to manage the video interviews effectively. I developed the talking points as well as the interview flow of the videography.
