I joined the New York Theatre Barn team during their 13th season in August 2020. They were already working with an established brand look and feel. I was able to work with the directors of the company to elevate and enhance the digital brand to help reach audiences during the unprecedented virtual theatrical season.

We wanted to focus in on the developmental angle of the company by using paint splashes, polaroids, and collage like elements. These were the basic structure used and adapted for the company's programs, institutional, and fundraising needs.
New Works Series -
Now in its 13th season, New York Theatre Barn’s New Works Series is presented weekly in a virtual live stream. The project represents an eclectic blend of new stories, told in new ways, and by a diverse community of writers. The live virtual programming allows them to reach an eclectic global audience to observe the development of important, original culture shifting musicals. The 2020 season included 33 installments of the series and 68 new musicals.

The work below is a sample of the weekly suite of digital graphics that were used on social, web and eblasts to inform and engage audiences. We face a unique challenge to create an overarching program brand, while highlighting the featured shows that often come to us with key art or logos.
Fundraising Graphics - Below are examples from three fundraising initiatives for which I have been responsible for creating branding and assets. The thought behind all three was to take our traditional branding motifs and elevate or differentiate slightly to signify a special event. Often this included using a gold/metallic color instead of the standard yellow.

The first two graphics are from the end of year appeal and a fundraising event, while the final piece is the investor pitch deck meant to be used throughout the year. The pitch deck was designed with the standard company branding rather than the specialized look because it did not need to stand out on social channels, but rather give a feel for the company as a whole.
