This painting symbolizes the great conjunction of planets Jupiter and Saturn, as it is in the state of closeness this year. Jupiter is the planet of learning and teaches us values, while Saturn allows and challenges one to overcome situations. The two superpowers coming together shall bring about change in large quantum. It is a tell tale sign that the world is changing and we have to learn and adapt. On a physical plane it signifies overcoming our fears and strive for highest achievement, however on a deeper and spiritual realm it is to understand who we truly are and go within.
I have also used a man-woman figurative form to depict this as a union. A deeper desire, a sexual and spiritual union. Love and sex are synonymous to our truest existence, they are path to highest vibrations.
This painting is using different hues of red, orange and yellow as the undertone. The background uses rich blue colors of aquamarine, ultramarine, thalo and peacock blue. I have also used chalk for texture and a light scribble.
