Yue Ayase: Philosophastra Illustrans, is a character created by Ken Akamatsu for the mangas Mahou Sensei Negima and UQ Holder.
She’s a former student of Negi Springfield and became a powerful witch making a magical pact with him in order to help his dangerous quest.
Her artifact is called “Orbis Sensualium Pictus”, an ancient illustrated encyclopedia which tells everything she wants.
The asset was based in a real children’s book written by Johann Amos Comenius, a Moravian teacher, educator, bishop, and writer in the seventeenth century. I used real scans of the book for the textures and improvised some diagramming for the back cover.
I used zBrush for her sculpture and some poly modeling for her asset.
