The Red Shoelace is the product of the final team project for Drawing for Design, a class I took during my first semester in the RISD industrial design masters program.
The video above is the product of a collaboration between Cynthia Poon, Alexander Peacock, and myself.
The drawings below represent my preliminary sketching and all of my illustration contributions. The illustrations below were created by hand. Some color was added digitally and some was added by hand. The images were digitally polished and cleaned.
Credit: The original storyline was my creation. We changed the ending and simplified the story as a group. Alex and I converted our drawings and audio clips into video format together. I selected the music for the finished product.
This was a fun project. We loved the process of creating The Red Shoelace!
