The Sri Yantra is located at the heart of the meditator indicating the human being as well as all of existence (represented by the mandala in the background) as one single making.

The stars on either sides represent the sun (or the stars) surrounded by planets and other bodies. These stars are also infused with the Swasthik which is conducive to well being.
