Everything in this image has meaning that relates back to the art exhibit I visited and the emotions I felt while I was there. For example the head that represents the fishing rod's crank is the virtual reality headset we used and represents the link between reality and imagination. I also tried to incorporate as many design principles as possible in my poster including balance, contrast, repetition, rhythm, symmetry, and scale.
All my sketches either represented physical replications of what I saw at the art exhibit or interpretations of how I perceived the art. Overall I think the personal interpretation of the art through my lens came out more creative than the more literal sketches.
I probably put the most time out of all my projects into this one because I made the sketches way too detailed. I think if I had just honed in on a couple good ideas and allocated more time to my final project it would have came out a lot better.
