Sometimes a search engine can’t find the page. This was a simple illustration that aims to abstractly create a visual for an error we’ve all dealt with, even when we know the site is not necessarily down. In my mind, it served to give me some representation of how the query won’t return the page. My concept stemmed from the notion that the search engine just threw out the request or let it go down the drain.  Part of a series of abstract illustrations
