Taking Photo 1-2 has helped my ability to capture art in multiple ways. With looking at the broad picture, I am now able to pin point where and what I want the emphasis of the photo to be on. Using line as the element of art in photos 1 and 2, I'm creating movement that shifts the viewer's eyes from one point to another. I have learned to also use color as an emphasis in order to draw attention to the subject, as in the third photo with the bright red bandanna. The principle design of balance has helped me create better compositions because of a better execution of fitting multiple subjects in a photo, as in the asymmetrical balance in photo 6. Aside from balance, proportion has helped me when comparing two widely different sizes subjects while distorting them as an optical illusion, such as in photo 7.
