Nino-Kai armchair and sofa set is my first attempt at furniture design for a - talk show- TV studio type of interior with a modern yet cosy living room feel. It has a low back and arm rest to accentuate guests figure that would stick above them with straight posture and provides the feeling of stability with it's monolithic and cubic shape, but also an illusion of floating provided by their raised metal base that serve as feet painted in black so that they would disappear in the shadow and dark floor reflections.
