Spatial Sounds / Conceptual Installation
Conceptual Installation 2020
This installation piece was installed to create pleasure for the audience. Spatial Sounds is inspired by the concept of ASMR and it is not meant to be a direct form of pleasure as pleasure itself is subjective to each person. Made of hanging crepe papers, it was aimed to be a sensory experience for the audience to interact with.
They could either:
- Walkthrough the piece and experience the sounds created from the papers against their bodies.
- Stand in the void in the middle of the piece
- View the piece from outside as an "untouchable" work of art
