타이포그래피란 본디 활자 사용법을 의미하여 활자만이 재료가 된 반면 오늘날에는 그림, 사진, 기호, 움직임 소리,
감각과 질감 등 거의 모든것이 재료가 됩니다. 이것들은 타이포그래피의 메시지를 보다 효과적으로 전달하며,
강한 인상을 남깁니다. 물질쓰기 프로젝트는 이 일련의 방식들을 따라, 주변의 한 소재를 선택하고 그 영역에서 발견되는
다양한 요소들을 타이포그래피의 재료로 사용하여 보다 강력한 메시지를 생성하기 위한 프로젝트입니다.
본 프로젝트에서는 목공과 짜맞춤 기법을 이용하여 프로젝트가 진행되었습니다.
가장 전통적이면서도 가장 견고한 조립방식인 짜맞춤은 그 특성을 살려 가구의 다리로 변환되어 기능적,

Whereas typography used to mean the use of type in the past, today almost everything is material: painting, photography, symbols, movement sounds, senses and textures. These convey the message of typography more effectively, leaving a strong impression. The Using matter Project is a project that follows this series of methods to create a stronger message by selecting a material around it and using the various elements found in that area as a material for typography.
In this project, the project was carried out using carpentry and joinery. The most traditional and the most rigid assembly, joinery, is transformed into the legs of the furniture using its characteristics and functions as a material for typography at the same time.
