About Bamboo
I really like bringing people into new worlds, creating things that give people an experience.
The inspiration for Bamboo comes from my fascination with Chinese bamboo forests and the Chinese instrument guzheng. I imagined walking amongst the bamboo on a mysterious night and coming across a clearing in which a guzheng instrument was placed in the centre, and when you plucked it, the bamboo around you would come alight, as if there were tiny fairies hidden amongst them that came alive when you played on the instrument.
When you walk amongst Bamboo, pluck its strings, you will feel as if you’ve entered a magical forest that will enthrall your sight, hearing and touch.
