My Restaurant Take-out Menu

Restaurant Take-out Menu Design
Here are the instructions for my take-out menu assignment for my Typography class at Golden West College.

"Include the information that’s on your printed brochure or the one you got online onto your new, redesigned one. You will be using the same name and information from the old brochure such as location, phone number, website, etc.

You don’t have to use ALL the food listings on your brochure. There may be too many. You are trying to make a good-looking takeout menu, so if you have to cut some food offerings...or even a whole category...go ahead. You will have to find photos for your brochure. You don’t have to have a photo for every itemon the takeout menu, but choose photos that represent categories of food, like fish, meat, vegetarian, dessert. You may have to cheat a little for your photos and go on Google to get them. It’s going to be hard to find photos on Unsplash or Pexels for specific dishes like Tikka Masala or Sushi Combo."

This place is new, just opened this restaurant around 2 months ago. It near my house so I came to check them out. The foods are good with very reasonable prices. The staffs are super nice and friendly. I checked out their menu on Yelp.com, I see just a simple only "words" menu. That is why I was thinking it will be easier for me to design it.

Here are their menu:

Before I came out with the final design, I used gold yellow for my panels background. It was pretty good looking for me, but it was kinda hard to read. Also the cover, I placed the words "K Cafe Crawfish & Chicken" in the middle instead of on top. It looked a bit off so I change it.

Here are my draft:
After changing a little bit here and there, I am really happy with my final design :) I will place it here one more time for you guys not confused with my draft, and thank you for reading my post :) Hope you guys have a nice day!
