“I miss you, call” me is a recreation of my Grandmother’s home in back in South Korea. These walls have added elements to emphasizes my close relationship with my Grandmother. The Korean letters are words of encouragement she has texted me over the years. The drawing on the left is a portrait of her on her birthday which was celebrated without me and to the right is her wrinkled hand that I long to hold. Living so far away from someone you love is never easy and these emotions were expressed through building the two walls.
