This is a graphic design exhibit poster for a museum. It is a successful piece of design because it is easy to read, uses colors that show good use of contrast, repetition, alignment, and proximity. With this project, detailed research was conducted on the designer Lester Beall to analyzing his use of colors, patters, and elements. After completing research, the drafting phase where experiments using a variety of design options began. The colors used are based off of Lester Beall’s usage of red, white, blue, and yellow. Attention is drawn to the featured designers, while providing enough contrast across the poster. The project was finalized by receiving feedback and polishing the final design.
