Paraplegia patients have impaired arm muscles which makes hard for them to move from chair to bed and vice versa. Patients during early stage of rehabilitation finds it hard to go through the push-up exercise.

Scissor lift mechanism can be used to assist the patient during their early stage of rehabilitation. It can be fitted both in bed and wheelchair. All these devices are electronically operated where degree of assistance is decided by input current.
