This is actually the first work of art I made for 3-D design. I chose to make a ladybug because I thought its simple shape would work well for a beginning wire artist like me.

         I think the wire ladybug worked out quite well for being the first big project of the semester. If I actively knew I was learning something while making this, it would definitely be when to use different wires for a wire art project. Between using thicker wire for support/framing and thinner wire for details, I pretty much got a crash course in wire art for this project. But all in all, it was a perfectly stimulating crash course.
