For this project, we had to create a system of icons for a theme of our choice. I chose to work on the theme of Chicago because that is my hometown and there are plenty of architectural sights that can be made into icons. For my stylistic approach, I went with geometric and simple shapes because Chicago is very modern and simple in its own way. I also took the shade of blue that can be found on the Chicago flag for the color of the icons.
