Alignment of the Room

Importance to scene: The oblique lines of the room foreshadows the sets throughout the film. 

3. The oblique orientation of the walls is subtle and minimal compared to the rest of the film. This foreshadows how emotional exaggeration will be used through the film. This scene is before trauma, but suggests the reality change through the slight tilt of the walls

4. The foreground only contains a single chair. The middle ground contains the bed, chairs, lamps and drawer. The background contains an armchair and window. The figure is in between the foreground and middle ground. There is only one single figure in this scene, highlighting a loneliness in the room.
