'Contextual Learning Timeline Project'
HND User Experience Contextual Design Brief
A contextual theory brief with the aim to explore the key points in design history.
This was an individual project, which was carried out over roughly 4-6 weeks due to the sheer amount of research involved in this task. Remote lectures were carried out on Microsoft Teams and collaboration with lecturers and peers on Mural.
A research workbook was compiled together first, with answers to 36 key design history questions. This was complied into Mural, ordered and then put into a design timeline. This individual idea was to compile the artworks in order into a booklet of tear-out postcards with a few facts on the back about the artist or movement to allow for any artist or art admirer to send a note with an artistic flair to their friends or family; this achieves the concept of this project, which was to create a product that could be sold in Art Galleries.
