Parasite
Bong Joon-ho, whom moviegoers know with Okja and Snow Plow, inspired by his wealthy house where he taught in his youth to earn money, Parasite became the first Korean film to receive the Palme d'Or this year in Cannes. Unemployed but skilled members of the Kim family infiltrate the wealthy Park family's home one by one as English teachers, art teachers and maids, but no matter how skillful they are in forgery, there is something they cannot hide. "It's a clown-less comedy, a drama without a bad guy," says the director, who masterfully handles the class difference wounds.
